Recruited by amazon.com as a Senior User Experience Designer to lead interaction, brand, and visual design for the Amazon Payments division. Joined the amazon.com team in 2007 in order to develop and ship products such as "Amazon Payphrase" (1 patent), "Checkout by Amazon", and others. Created comprehensive workflows, information architecture diagrams, visual comps, and detailed documentation. Aligned with teams from across the company to facilitate consistency and unify our brand with the rest of Amazon. Worked closely with senior product managers across the division, and regularly presented design work to executive management for review.

Checkout by Amazon
Checkout by Amazon is a complete checkout and payment solution for ecommerce retailers offered to handle either checkout or payment on a retail website. This product leverages millions of Amazon customers to use information stored in their Amazon.com accounts to buy on retailers sites, including shipping addresses and payment methods. I helped create and define the workflows, and experience design for this product. Conceived of, and created explorations and constructed high-fidelity prototypes to help our team and executive management understand the value in different design approaches. I utilized a strong understanding of dynamic interface technologies to help us envision a streamlined experience for users.

Amazon Payphrase
PayPhrase is both a payment instrument, and an easy-to-remember shortcut to shipping and payment information using anyones Amazon.com account. I was the creative lead on Amazon Payphrase during its definition phase and have one patent for the product offering. I helped define the product and created extensive documentation for review by our teams leadership. Worked closely with developers to define features and implement functionality that extended our vision and allowed for a secure, fun, and fast experience delivering on the promise that Amazon Payphrase advertised.
