Microsoft Zune
Zune device interaction design and program management
While working at Xbox I co-led the interaction design for the zune portable media player software. I created extensive workflows for each feature, created explorations to understand how various features might work, and maintatined extensive information architecture diagrams and related documentation throughout the product development phase. My work received praise from Walt Mossberg in his review of the device: "I really liked the interface on the Zune. In some modes, it allows you to do things with fewer clicks than the iPod does. For instance, if you are browsing through music, you don't have to go back a step to switch from, say, a list of artists to a list of albums. Those choices are arrayed at the top of the screen and can be selected with a sideways push of the navigation pad."

Zune PC software setup
I supported the PC software setup experience as a design program manager - owning the delivery of necessary assets and facilitating the flow of information across teams in various locales. I also created and maintained detailed wireframe interaction flows, and created high-fidelity design comps used to present to executive management.

Account creation and management
As a key component of the setup process, creating user accounts to facilitate the other half of the experience online was crucial. I created and maintained detailed wireframe flows, and design comps for understanding the process of creating a Zune ID, and helped to develop the Zune account management experience, which were compatible with Xbox LIVE accounts.
